Born and raised in Kuching, capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, we have always had exposure to multiracial communities with rich cultural diversity. This has inculcated in us the interest and passion for crafts produced by the indigenous tribes. With that, DarrielandCherry was formed, allowing us to share our enthusiasm to preserve the beautiful cultural arts and crafts.
It is our belief that by bringing this intangible cultural heritage to the world, not only can these cultures be shared, but it also empowers the artisans in the remote areas in tandem with the creation of more job opportunities in the impoverished areas.
We are still working continuously to design and create more products based on rich cultural heritage in the hope that every new product will encourage the world to join in our journey to preserve and maintain the cultural treasures from all over the world.
